I was saddened to hear of Carleys passing. Please accept our very deepest sympathy. Erica & Ash Johnstone
Carley was very supportive towards myself and especially my daughter jayda during the time i was going through treatment in hospital. I was feeling anxious to how i was going to continue with some school fundraising for a school trip to China that my daughter was selected for and carley helped ease a lot of stress by helping immensely with fundraising. Ava her daughter was also a huge support. Carley and family, on behalf of myself and our family, we send you lots of love and our condolences ❤️
So very sorry to hear of Carleys passing. Lots of memories of growing up with Carley at school- from West Gore through to High School. Then working at New World. - boy did we have some fun back then. We lost touch after that. We connected again in January 2018. I wanted to catch up with Carley but never got time. I wish I had made that time. I always remember how determined and strong minded she was at school. Sounds like nothing had changed. I know how much she loved her kids the way she spoke about them. Ava, she was and will always be so very proud of you. There will be a huge hole in all your lives, but she will always be with you in your thoughts, memories and hearts. sending you all love and hugs. cheers to a very special lady... rest well my friend xx

Our deepest sympathy to all Carley's family. You are all in our thoughts at this time. Tirina, James, Brooke, Petra and Ashlee Anderson xxx I first meet Carley playing in the Kaka Point Netball Club and through Ange. A cheeky bugger. But always the life of the party. With a huge heart. My friend it's not a good bye, it's a see you later. I'll see you when the roads decide it's time for our paths to cross again. Tirina xxx

I spent a couple of days in hospital in February with Carley as a roommate. We discovered that she had looked after our daughters Anna and Kate while they were boarders at St Kevin’s . She remembered them well and shared some stories with me. The most incredible moments though were spent in being able to share openly with each other about our cancer journey’s, our concerns for those we would leave behind in this life and the life events we would miss out on. No one understands quite like someone on the same path. What I did learn for sure was that Carley loved her family immensely, that she was feisty and strong and with a great sense of humour. Carley was an absolute light in the darkness of that hospital visit and I will treasure those memories.
Carley cared for me during my time at boarding school and gave me such kindness and comfort when I was away from home, something I have never forgotten. It feels especially meaningful that later in life she spent time side by side with my mum in hospital, both bravely battling cancer. There is something deeply moving in knowing they shared that journey together. I will always remember Carley’s strength and warmth but especially that amazing sense of humour
Donny, Cheryl, Wayne, Corban and Ava — and all your extended whānau, sending you all so much love during this heartbreaking time. Carley was such a beautiful soul — warm, kind, and a truly special friend who meant so much to so many. I feel so lucky to have known her. Taken far too soon, but her light will never fade. Rest easy, my friend — you’ll be forever remembered xx
