Loved Grandpa to Samuel and Nicky, Nikita and Ashley; Philip, Matthew and Anna, Anna and Simon, Kate and Ben.
Poppa to Ruby, Lucy, Oscar, and Jack. A celebration of Ian's long life will be held at St Luke's Anglican Church Oamaru on Wednesday 11th March 2026 at 2.00 pm.

Catherine, Bob, Nick, Jennie and Families. I was deeply saddened to learn of Ian's passing. A wonderful Man who lived a full life. I'm sorry I was unable to be with you all in person today, but watched Ian's service via live stream. You all certainly did him proud, a beautiful service,and Nick, I will have a giggle next time I see a passenger train and think of your Dads adventures. I was sitting here last night, reminiscing of our childhood, many happy memories together, and pictured Jan and Ian walking hand in hand across a paddock up at "Spring Creek" Please know you are all in my thoughts. Rest in Love Ian.
