My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beautiful mum, sister, grandmother Even with distance, she was to me my favorite Aunty, I will hold my special memory of visiting her & Uncle Stan with my children in tow...she embraced us like long lost family, she nourished Ben, Sam, Zane & Nikki up with her home baked goodies, showed us Oamaru and showed us all so much unconditional love...My kids loved her and wanted to stay with only her for the whole trip. She made coming home a treat. Love you always... RIP Aunty Joy.....now be with Uncle Stan

Please accept my sympathy in your sad loss. Joy was a wonderful lady who did so much for her family and the Oamaru community. I have fond memories of Joy and Stan and their family when I lived on the fire station as a young fireman. Joy spent many hours day and night when we went out to fire calls looking after the station watch room when we were off station. She will be missed by all. Kind Regards Keith Ross

I truely wonderful and beautiful lady inside and out. I will treasure my memories from the years at the Fire Station to the Castle House on the hill, far north end house. I’ll treasure the afternoon I was lucky enough to bagpipe for Joy at Observation Village and seeing her smile light up the room. RIP Joy, no one will ever replace you.
