Wansbrough, Ruth Edna, passed away peacefully at Oamaru Hospital, surrounded by family, on Monday 30 March 2026, after a short illness, aged 94. Dearly loved wife of the late Les, much loved Mum of Barry, sister and sister -in-law of June* and Alf*, Dorothy and Rex* Murray, Aileen and John Mcdonald, and Robin Dinnington. A funeral service will be held at Whitestone Chapel, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Thursday 9 April 2026 at 1pm.

Sorry I could'nt be there today. In loving memory of my dear friend Ruth. When I started work at Iona in 1981 Ruth was my mentor. I have treasured her friendship all these years. Ruth called me "wee Susie" and that endearment meant the world to me A very kind and generous friend to me and my family. Loving thoughts to Barry and family.
